MGA EVENT DESCRIPTIONS AND APPROXIMATE TIMING:
NOVEMBER
MGA Men's Opening Day – generally the second Monday of “season”; Game is a team scramble for prizes
FEBRUARY
​MGA Member/Guest Day – Members play with their guest against other member/guest teams. Game is 1 Net of 2 for all but par 3’s; Par 3’s are 1 gross, 1 net
​MGA Mid-Season Blast –a team shamble followed by MGA provided lunch
MARCH
​MGA Championship Cup – Ryder Cup type event. 24 players who either qualify by winning previous events or are selected by the MGA Board. First day is three 9 hole matches. Second day is singles matches.
APRIL
​MGA Men’s Closing Day/Spring Fling – generally the last day of “season” play, this is a team scramble played in the morning from 6 white, 6 yellow and 6 red tees followed by the Spring Fling Party 6-9:30 Pm - an evening of MGA provided heavy hors d’oeuvres, prizes and thanks to the golf club staff
